This glorious threesome returns to First Sundays Concerts, performing timeless works from the Piano Trio repertoire.

Praised for her “glowing sound” and “technical aplomb”, multi-award-winning artist Elisa Barston is the Seattle Symphony’s Principal Second Violin. As a soloist and chamber musician, Ms. Barston has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, appearing as soloist with the Chicago Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the St. Louis Symphony, the Taipei Symphony, and the English Chamber Orchestra, among many others.
Ms. Barston performs on a c. 1715 – c. 1720 violin by Joseph Guarnerius filius Andrea, Cremona, utilizing a c. 1830 bow by Francois Xavier Tourte, Paris.  Meet Elisa

Born in Texas, pianist Paige Roberts Molloy made her orchestral debut at the age of 13 with the Baylor University Orchestra. Over the past several decades, she has enjoyed performances in New York City at Bargemusic, Alice Tully Hall, Weill Hall and Miller Theatre. Recital appearances include Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston, Pittsburgh, Ottawa, Prague and Paris. This season, Paige makes her Seattle Town Hall debut performing Shostakovich Second Concerto with Philharmonia Northwest, as well as Shostakovich First Concerto with Port Angeles Symphony. She returns to Philharmonia Northwest next season to play Beethoven Fourth Piano Concerto. Paige has participated in many music festivals such as Marlboro, Tanglewood, Aspen, Santa Barbara, Grand Canyon and Mecklenberg, Germany. Since 2016, she is a regular favorite at the Seattle Chamber Music Society.

She performs frequently with members of the Seattle Symphony, and a recording with the principal oboist, Mary Lynch, was recently released.

She holds two degrees from Juilliard, where she studied with Abbey Simon and Peter Serkin. Other beloved teachers were Leon Fleisher, Maurizio Pollini, Jerome Lowenthal and Mary Norris.

Paige is currently on faculty at Seattle Chamber Music Society Academy and also teaches privately.
